    Avoid the heat and have a picnic inside at American Girl! This fun family event starts with bite-sized picnic treats and sweets. Afterwards, your girl can put her own spin on decorating a summer pinwheel craft. All girls will also receive a special themed goody bag.     Pet Pampering Day

    Your girl knows that her plush pets are special enough for snuggles—so why not bring her favorite stuffed animal to American Girl for a sweet, snap-worthy event? We’ll start with a welcome and a “pet show-and-tell”; then it’s time for salon-style pampering! Girls can put their pups and kitties in salon chairs, put salon capes on them, and help with a spruce-up of the pets’ coats, with lots of chances for photos. We’ll also offer some fun crafts, including braiding ribbons for a pretty collar and then making special name tags to hang on them. After the pampering, girls will be served a snack including yogurt, fruit, and pink lemonade, plus decorate pawprint-shaped cookies to take home.

    Girls and their grandparents can share a memorable, magical meal at American Girl on Grandparents Day. To add a special touch, each girl will be given fresh flowers to give to her grandparents, plus she’ll get a goody bag that includes a fun memory-game table activity that all can enjoy at dinner.
